Mac Armstrong is the former President of Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, the largest program administrator in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance space with approximately $1 Billion of written premium and over 775 employees. Armstrong led the sale of Arrowhead to Brown & Brown Insurance (NYSE: BRO) for $400 million in January 2012. He also held the positions of CFO and COO at Arrowhead. Prior experience includes Spectrum Equity Investors, a private equity investment firm where he led the insurance investing practice and Alex. Brown & Sons/ BT Alex. Brown Inc., an investment bank acquired by Deutsche Bank. Mr. Armstrong holds an AB from Princeton University.
Mr. Armstrong is a member of the San Diego Chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (“YPO”) and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Gillispie School.
